Understand Who You Are

UNDERSTAND Who You Are, What You Have, How to Use It

(New Year’s Eve 12/31/19 for 2020 and Beyond)

Understanding Who you are and What you have because of Who you are IN Christ along with the wisdom and discernment to use ALL that you have been given is imperative for a child of God and more so in 2020!

Understand that you will use all that you have learned up until 2020 and given many opportunities to apply them in your daily walk. For some, new doors will be opened, and one must take all your weapons with your armor on to discover and execute the plans that have been given to you.

For others, the opportunity to stand against the wiles of the devil will appear and knowing who you are and what you already possess will present itself. Understanding by using what you know and leaving yourself open to gain more in this decade requires one to yield and surrender to God and walking in obedience.

Fight the Adversary with THE WORD and the HOLY SPIRIT

Jesus Christ is our example and as he spoke,” It is written, It is written, It is said”, so must we as he did in Luke 4.  We must stand and resist the adversary with the weapons that  has already been demonstrate. Use the Word of God to Fight the Enemy.

Luke 4:1-21 King James Version (KJV)

And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.

And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:

10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:

11 And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.

14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

Recognize we are free because of what Jesus has already done and must constantly allow the Holy Spirit remind us.

John 8:31-32 (KJV)

Then said Jesus to those Jews which he believed on him, If you continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed.   And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make your free.

You are free and no longer in bondage and wherever you go in His name you are carrying his presence and liberty.

Spirit of Liberty

2 Corinthians 3:17-18     Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

But we all with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of God. (KJV)

Wherever we go, whomever we encounter on our daily walk; we must remain humble as we cast our own cares to God. Resisting whatever the doesn’t line up with the Word of God and the revelation of the Holy Spirit.

1 Peter 5:6-11

Humble yourselves therefore under the might hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Be sober, be vigiliant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour.

Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

PUT ON YOUR ARMOR AND KEEP IT ON WHILE STANDING for God and against the enemy:

Ephesians 6:10-17 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of is might.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood; but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness:

And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be above to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

Obedience is required to execute the plans of God and  it is starts on the inside job.

2 Corinthians 10:3-7

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but might through God the pulling down of strong holds)

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

We must stay sober and alert while walking in our freedom and obedience to God.
