Unforgiveness BLOCKS your prayers and the flow of the anointing. Forgive out of obedience and set yourself free for forgiveness is for you. It should not be about our feelings or waiting for someone to say sorry first; one must simply do it to set yourself free (inside job that affects the outside).
When we do, God removes the pain of the words, event and situations and even the details of it. The situation turns into your testimony with no negative thoughts. A testimony that could set someone else free; for the enemy likes to plant thoughts in our minds that we are the only one going through something or been hurt beyond repair. Forgive so you can be forgiven, so you can be free and perhaps be led to share and set someone else free. We must ask the Holy Spirit to help us to release and check our emotions and to FORGIVE OURSELVES.
We may have unforgiveness against God for letting a loved one die, or towards a family member, co-workers, relatives, or everyone generally (bigger issue) and in some cases rightfully so because of the deed executed (physically, mentally, or verbally). It could have been abuse (mentally, physically or both), murder (mentally or physically), or negative and deadly words which can scar someone for life (kill, steal, and destroy).
One may hide the feelings of hurt and pain through laughter to keep from crying or see it as a weakness, because it left you feeling some kind of way and you are supposed to be strong in the natural (flesh) but must be strong in the Lord and his Might (spiritual affecting the natural walk (soul).
But that doesn’t mean we don’t need deliverance, for deliverance and freedom helps to sets up healthy boundaries and secures your armour and removes the button of access from the enemy to push repeatedly. We must address our thoughts, perspectives (how we look at nouns and change it) and put our emotions in check with the Word of God and the help of the Holy Spirit.
For with the Holy Spirit’s help we can grow tough skin and dry those tears of pain and turn them into tears of joy for we are no longer bond (enslaved to the thoughts, images, sounds, words and feelings). There is nothing wrong with asking for help in the spiritual vein as well as the natural.
John 8:36 (KJV)
If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.
Matthew 6:15 (KJV)
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
In this season, we can not afford for our prayers to be hindered for any reason, for they may save lives, heal broken hearts and set the captives free perhaps the very ones we must forgive including ourselves. Declare We are free in Jesus Name! Amen, Amen.
